LSSU Women's Golf Places 12th in Beall Fall Classic

FINDLAY, Ohio. – Lake Superior State women's golf team traveled to Findlay, Ohio to compete in the William Beall Fall Classic hosted by Findlay University. The Lakers finished the tournament in 12th.

After the first round of competition the Lady Lakers finished tied for 10th. Leading the team was Naomi Keyte, finishing the round with a 78 and tied for 24th. Taylor Simoneau carded a 78 and was tied for 32nd. Madison Whittet finished with a score of 81 and tied for 45th, and Tatiana Hulan shot an 83 tying for 59th. Finishing the lineup for the first round of play was Madison Wilkie with an 84 tying for 61st.

In the second round, Simoneau finished with an 81 (159), tied for 27th. Keyte finished with an 86 (164) and tied for 46th. Hulan tied for 60th with a score of 86 (169), and Whittet tied for 62nd with a second round score of 89 (170). Madison Wilkie finished with an 88 (176) tied for 68th.

The women play in the Panther Invite and the men play in the Motor City Invitational next weekend (Oct. 15 & 16).
