Mission Statement

Lake Superior State University Intercollegiate Athletics is committed to providing all student-athletes a level of care that ensures their safe participation, aids in their individual and team's success and preserves their ability to enjoy a lifetime of physical activity. The professional medical staff is also dedicated to educating student-athletes and assisting them in developing their ability to make informed decisions regarding their personal health.

Natalie is presently in her second year as a certified athletic trainer at Lake Superior State, beginning those duties in early August 2017. 

Her primary sport responsibilities for the Lakers are men's ice hockey, men's & women's golf, and men's and women's tennis.

A native of Mesa, Ariz., Reynolds came to LSSU after serving as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio.  She served as the primary athletic trainer for the Bobcats' Softball team and received her Master of Science degree in athletic training from Ohio University in 2017.
During her senior year at the University of Delaware, Reynolds worked a season long internship with the Philadelphia Flyers Professional Ice Hockey team. She worked directly with Head Athletic Trainer Jim McCrossin covering practices and games, as well as assisting with the rehabilitation and treatments of the players.

Reynolds earned a bachelor of science degree in 2015 from the University of Delaware in Newark, Del., majoring in athletic training with a minor in strength and conditioning.  Reynolds is a 2011 graduate of St. Mark's High School in Wilmington, Del., where she participated on the school's crew team for two seasons and one with the Spartans' field hockey squad.

John is presently in his second year as a certified athletic trainer at Lake Superior State and started at LSSU in early August 2017.

His primary sport responsibilities for the Lakers are women's volleyball, women's & men's basketball, women's & men's cross country, and women's & men's track.

Teasley, a native of Zeeland, Mich., arrives to LSSU after spending 2015-17 at Arizona State University in Tempe, Ariz.  At ASU, Teasley was a certified graduate assistant athletic trainer for the Sun Devils' men's and women's tennis teams along with women's lacrosse.

Before Arizona State, Teasley served as a student athletic trainer at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Mich., from 2011-15 where he assisted in athletic training duties for men's ice hockey, women's soccer, and men's & women's tennis.

Teasley graduated in 2015 from Michigan State and majored in athletic training.  He then received a Master's of Arts in Education degree from Arizona State in 2017.
