John Teasley is in his 2nd year as a certified athletic trainer at Lake Superior State.
His primary sport responsibilities for the Lakers are women's volleyball, women's & men's basketball, women's & men's cross country, and women's & men's track.
Teasley, a native of Zeeland, Mich., arrives to LSSU after spending 2015-17 at Arizona State University in Tempe, Ariz. At ASU, Teasley was a certified graduate assistant athletic trainer for the Sun Devils' men's and women's tennis teams along with women's lacrosse.
Before Arizona State, Teasley served as a student athletic trainer at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Mich., from 2011-15 where he assisted in athletic training duties for men's ice hockey, women's soccer, and men's & women's tennis.
Teasley graduated in 2015 from Michigan State and majored in athletic training. He then received a Master's of Arts in Education degree from Arizona State in 2017.
A 2011 graduate of Holland (Mich.) High School, Teasley competed four years (2008-11) in both golf and wrestling. He also was a drum major for two years with the school's marching band.
The son of Robert and Diane Teasley, John has a younger sister and his interests include cooking, reading, hiking, kayaking, and watching Netflix. He holds membership in the National Athletic Trainers Association.
