Day 1 results from The Big Meet
ALLENDALE - Katie Scott placed 12th among 24 runners in Friday's invitational 5,000-meter run held during the first day of competition at The Big Meet, hosted by Grand Valley State.
Scott clocked a time of 17:35.36 while competing in the 5K for the second time this season. The race included several Division I runners.
Katie Winiarski cleared 1.56 meters to tie for eighth in the women's high jump. Paul Davis was 12th in the men's invitational 200-meter dash (:22.72). Adam Smith suffered a season-ending injury in the men's invitational 400-meter dash.
