Riedel and Charbonneau take seconds at Lyle Bennett Relays

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - Lake Superior State's Hans Riedel and Ben Charbonneau placed second in their specialty events at the Lyle Bennett Relays hosted by Central Michigan University on Saturday.

Riedel was second in the men's discus throw with a distance of 50.89 meters, while Charbonneau was the runnerup in the men's javelin with a throw of 55.91 meters.

For the Laker women, Kim Booms finished ninth in the discus throw (33.13 meters), while Lauryn Lafoille was 15th (26.91 meters). Booms was 10th (36.81 meters) in the hammer, while Lafoille was 12th (36.25 meters).
