Pease places 69th to lead LSSU at NCAA Regional
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Lucas Pease finished 69th in 33:327.58 to lead the Lake Superior State men's cross country team at the 2010 NCAA Midwest Regional on Saturday.
Kayla Nowak was 117th in 24:49.31 to lead the Laker women.
Laker Mark List placed 77th in 33:38.03, followed by Jeff Kuhl, who was 84th in 33:47.82. The Laker men were 17th among 21 teams. Taylor Heath (93rd), Sean Vardy (111th), Mackenzie Oglesby (119th) and Robert Swain (125th) rounded out LSSU's lineup.
Kelsey Lewis was the No. 2 finisher for the LSSU women's squad. She was 120th in 24:56.51, while Jamie Wick was 133rd in 25:49.20. Elizaberth Dachs was 141st, and Sarah Schultz was 143rd. The Laker women were 21st among 22 teams.
The men competed on an 8K course at Tom Sawyer State Park, while the women ran a 6K.
