LSSU makes USTFCCCA national all-academic list

NEW ORLEANS – The 2010 Lake Superior State men’s and women’s cross country teams both earned national all-academic status from the United Stats Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

The LSSU women had a team grade point average of 3.42, while the Laker men’s GPA was 3.06.

Lake Superior State was among 10 women’s teams and five men’s teams in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference to earn all-academic recognition.

LSSU cross country teams under coach Steve Eles also made the all-academic list in 2005, ’06, ’07 and ’08.
