Heath places eighth at FSU
BIG RAPIDS - Sophomore Taylor Heath placed eighth among 105 runners to lead Lake Superior State Saturday at the Ray Helsing Bulldog Invitational, which was the season opener for the Laker cross country team.
Heath finish in 26:31.02, while Laker Mark List was 22nd in 27:12.13. The LSSU women's team was led by Brooke Simon, who was 43rd in 20:29.12.
Other top finishers for the LSSU men were Michael McPherson, who was 65th in 29:04.13, and Tucker Seese, who was 67th in 29:10.51.
Kelsey Lewis was 55th in 21:16.40 for the Laker women.
