VanOudheusden is named GLIAC North Division Player of the Week

BAY CITY - Lake Superior State senior forward Tim VanOudheusden was named Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference North Division Player of the Week after averaging 25 points and 6.5 rebounds per game during last weekend's GLIAC vs. GLVC Challenge.
VanOudheusden, a 6-4 forward from Grand Rapids, Mich., finished one point off his career high by scoring 28 points during a 91-89 overtime victory over Wisconsin-Parkside on Sunday. He scored 10 points in the first half, 13 in the second half, and had five points, a rebound and a blocked shot in overtime.
VanOudheusden also led the Lakers with 22 points during Saturday's 77-73 overtime loss to Lewis.
The four-year starter has 893 career points and a career field-goal percentage of 48.7 percent.
