Micah Hudson named North Division GLIAC Player of the Week

Senior Micah Hudson opened his final campaign by shooting 40 percent from the field, 44 percent on the arc, and 91.7 percent from the free-throw line as the Lakers split decisions at the GLIAC/GLVC Showdown in Springfield, Ill. Against UIS, the Prairiestars maintained their lead until Hudson hit two three-pointers during the final 1:46. Hudson rebounded a UIS miss, which led to a layup by LSSU’s Khalid Wells for a 66-65 Laker lead with three seconds left. For the weeknd Hudson averaged 19.5 points and 7 rebounds per game.
