LSSU opens spring season at NCAA Regional #2

GEORGETOWN, Ky. - The Lake Superior State men's golf team opened the spring portion of its season at the NCAA Regional No. 2 held Friday and Saturday at Cherry Blossom Golf Club.

LSSU totaled 632 strokes and placed 23rd among 24 teams. Indianapolis won the event with a team score of 562.

Brent Vizina had the Lakers' low score of 76-77--153. He tied for 55th place at 9-over. Sean Stubbs tied for 85th with a 78-80--158. Sean Green (81-79--160) tied for 96th, followed by Bryan Clishe (79-82--161), who tied for 99th. P.J. Dienes (89-84--173) tied for 114th.

The Lakers compete April 11-12 in NCAA Regional No. 3 in Noblesville, Ind.
