LSSU finishes 10th at Arendsen Invitational
ALLENDALE - Lake Superior State placed 10th among 11 teams at the Arendsen Invitational hosted by Grand Valley State on Saturday and Sunday.
Brandon Vizina shot a 79-74--153 to tie for 19th and turn in the low score for the Lakers. Andrew McKenney tied for 29th with a 76-79--155, and Mike Caputo tied for 35th with a 77-81--158.
P.J. Dienes (80-80--160) tied for 52nd, and Brent Vizina (82-85--167) tied for 67th.
Non-scorers for LSSU were Nathan Stump (87-85--172), Andrew Doerr (91-87--178) and Robert Perry (95-93--188).
Findlay won the team title, beating GVSU by three strokes. UF's Joe McGeean took medalist honors with a 6-under 73-65--138.
