Lakers move up to 15th at Great Lakes Regional #1
SOUTH HAVEN, Mich. - The Lake Superior State men's golf team moved up five spots during the second day of play at the Great Lakes Regional #1 held Tuesday at Hawkshead Golf Course and finished 15th among 23 teams.
Mike Caputo (75-82--157) and Andrew McKenney (78-79--157) tied for 63rd to lead the Lakers. Brent Vizina (81-81--162) and P.J. Dienes (83-79--162) tied for 82nd, and Brandon Vizina (81-84--165) tied for 98th. The Lakers were 20th after Monday's round and finished with 636 points.
Indianapolis won the team event with 578 strokes. Drury's Andrew Funk took medalist honors with a 72-69--141.
