Lakers place 10th at LEC Spring Invite
PAINESVILLE, Ohio - Lake Superior State was seventh among 13 teams after Saturday's first round and wound up 10th Sunday at the Lake Erie College Spring Invitational.
LSSU had a team score of 317 on the first day and totaled a 335 on Day 2. Brandon Vizina shot a 74-86--160 to tie for 36th and lead the Lakers. Mike Caputo (82-79--161) and Brent Vizina (78-83--161) tied for 42nd.
Nathan Stump (83-91--174) and Robert Perry (87-87--174) tied for 69th.
Findlay won the team event with a 603 total. UF's Matt Jones took medalist honors with a 72-74--146.
