Brent Vizina is tied for 10th after first round of GLIAC Championship

DETROIT - Lake Superior State's Brent Vizina is among five players tied for 10th place and is only three shots out of first place after the first day of competition at the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Men's Golf Championships.

Vizina shot a 74 at the Grosse Ile Golf and Country Club in Detroit on Sunday. Mike Caputo is tied for 21st with a 76, while P.J. Dienes is tied for 45th with an 81. Brandon Vizina is tied for 49th with an 82, and Andrew McKenney is tied for 51st with an 83.

LSSU is in a two-way tie for ninth place at a team score of +29.
