Freshman (2007-08): Received LSSU's Outstanding Freshman Award...Finished third on the team in goals scored and fifth in total points...Led LSSU in plus-minus at +8...Was ranked 22nd in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association in freshmen scoring...Scored his first collegiate goal at Notre Dame (11/1)...Scored a goal while the Lakers were playing with an extra attacker in a 3-2 loss to Michigan State (11/30) and totaled 2-0--2 for the series...Scored the game-winning goal in a 2-1 overtime victory over Alaska (2/22)...Recorded an assist and the game-winning goal against Northern Michigan (2/28)...Enjoyed a seven-game point streak from 2/16 through 3/8.

Prior to LSSU: Led the Pickering Panthers in scoring with 36-34--70 and was tied for 14th in scoring in the Ontario Provincial Junior Hockey League during the 2006-07 season...Was named the South Conference's most-improved player and OPJHL All-Star Game's most-valuable player...Received the Brad Shearer Award -- a leadership award presented by the Panthers' organization...Was a former teammate of Laker John Scrymgeour.
