Lakers receive mention in 2009 CCHA Captain's Poll

FARMINGTON HILLS - Lake Superior State senior Josh Sim, junior Nathan Perkovich and freshman Kyle Haines received mention on the 2009 edition of the Central Collegiate Hockey Association Captain's Poll.

Sim was first runner-up as Most-Vocal Player on the Ice, while Perkovich tied for first runner-up for Best Wrist Shot. Haines tied for first runner-up for Most-Underrated Player.

No. 1-ranked Notre Dame led the league in representation with 10 players on the list, while Michigan State goaltender Jeff Lerg earned the most first-place honors.
