Inglis is named CCHA Goaltender of the Week

FARMINGTON HILLS - Lake Superior State junior goaltender Pat Inglis was named Central Collegiate Hockey Association Goaltender of the Week after recording his first career shutout and reaching a season high in saves as the Lakers swept Michigan State last weekend at Taffy Abel Arena.

Inglis (Calgary, Alta.) stopped all 20 shots on goal to help the Lakers blank MSU 2-0 on Friday. He totaled 36 saves as LSSU won 4-2 Saturday and secured its first series sweep in back-to-back games against the Spartans since February, 1989. He improved his season record to 3-3-2 and his career mark to 12-16-4.

In 2008-09, Inglis is ranked fourth in the CCHA in save percentage at .921 and 10th in goals-against average at 2.41. His career high in saves is 49, set during Game 3 of last year's CCHA Playoff series at Bowling Green State.

The Lakers travel to fourth-ranked Michigan this weekend.
