U.S. InLine team falls in bronze medal game

BRATISLAVA, Slovakia - The U.S. InLine National Team fell to Germany 8-7 in the bronze medal game of the 2008 International Ice Hockey Federation InLine World Championship.

Lake Superior State senior Steve Oleksy drew an assist in the fourth quarter. Oleksy also had an assist in a 12-8 semifinal loss to defending champion Sweden on June 28, and contributed a goal and two assists in a 17-1 victory over Austria on June 26.

Team USA finished 4-2 in the tournament. Former Laker Chris Peterson added an assist in two of the squad's last three games.
