Soo BlueLiners donate $15K to Laker Hockey

KINROSS - Soo BlueLiners president Howard Ledergerber (right) presents a check for $15,000 to Lake Superior State hockey coach Jim Roque.

The Soo BlueLiners, who have been supporting the Laker hockey program for more than 26 years, held their annual summer golf outing in June at The Oaks Golf Course. In addition to the golf outing, the BlueLiners sell 50/50 tickets at Laker hockey games. The organization also sponsors a Christmas party, the season-ending banquet and other special events for players and fans.
