Freshman (2008-09): Ranked eighth in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association in freshman scoring and was named LSSU's Outstanding Freshman...Scored his first two collegiate goals during the Lakers' 7-3 victory over Ohio State (10/17)...Was named CCHA Rookie of the Week after contributing a goal and an assist during a 6-2 victory over Harvard (12/27) and assisting on Zac MacVoy's goal during a 1-1 tie with Wisconsin (12/28) at the Badger Showdown...Received CCHA Rookie of the Month Special Mention for totaling 3-2--5 in December...Had a five-game point streak from 12/12 through 1/8...Also had multiple-point games against Western Michigan (0-2--2, 2/20 and 1-1--2, 3/6)...Scored his first game-winning goal against WMU (3/6)...Earned honorable mention on the 2009 CCHA All-Rookie Team and made the Michigancollegehockey.com All-Rookie Team.

Prior to LSSU: Led the St. Michael's Buzzers with 32 goals and 57 assists and was the Ontario Provincial Junior Hockey League's No. 3 scorer in 2007-08...Also totaled a team-leading 10-7--17 during the 2008 OPJHL Playoffs...An OPJHL All-Star who set a Buzzers career record for games played (166)...Was part of a 2007-08 Buzzers team that set club records for wins (43), league points (88), goals for (291) and fewest losses (4)...St. Mike's enjoyed a remarkable 37-game unbeaten streak during the 2007-08 regular season.
