Junior (2008-09): Scored his first official goal as a Laker during a 5-4 OT loss at Colgate (1/8)...Totaled four assists to lead LSSU to a 7-0 exhibition victory over Windsor (10/25) and tallied a goal on 10/26 against the U.S. Under-18 team...Had multiple-point goals against Ferris State (0-2--2, 11/1), Michigan State (1-2--3, 1/31) and Western Michigan (1-1--2, 3/6).

Prior to LSSU: A transfer from Providence College...Missed most of the 2006-07 season due to injury and totaled one assist through 10 games...Appeared in 31 games at Providence in 2005-06 and totaled 1-3--4...Played three seasons for the Texas Tornado of the North American Junior Hockey League ...Led Texas in points in 2004-05 with 28-60--88 in 56 games and finished second in points in 2003-04 with 26-37--63.

Personal: Son of Dave and Linda Cooper...Grandfather, Ronald (Bud) Cooper is a former athlete, coach and director of athletics at LSSU and helped start the Laker hockey program in 1966...Majoring in business management...A 2003 graduate of Coppell High School.
