Prior to LSSU: Was the runner-up for the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League Defenseman of the Year Award in 2007-08...Totaled four goals and 23 assists in 57 games during his final season with the Weyburn Red Wings and compiled 13-47--60 over three SJHL seasons with his hometown squad...Was a SJHL First Team All-Star and played for Canada West at the 2006 World Junior A Hockey Challenge.
