Sophomore (2008-09): Totaled 28 saves during a 2-0 victory over Bowling Green State (11/7) to record his first collegiate shutout and LSSU's first shutout since Dec. 1, 2006...Posted his first shootout victory against BGSU (11/8)...Missed six games due to injury (1/30 through 2/14)...Stopped 39 shots on goal during the Lakers' 6-3 win at Western Michigan (3/6) during Game 1 of the Central Collegiate Hockey Association First Round Playoffs, then topped that effort with a career-high 41 saves during a 4-3 double overtime loss (3/7)...Was 1-5 in shootouts.
Freshman (2007-08): Stopped all 32 shots on goal during his first career start against Clarkson (10/27), but had to leave the game with 4:37 remaining due to a leg cramp...Recorded his first collegiate assist and totaled a season-high 36 saves in a 3-3 tie at Michigan State (1/5)...Totaled 31 saves during a 6-5 overtime victory over Ohio State (1/26) and had 66 saves while starting back-to-back games for the first time in his collegiate career.
Prior to LSSU: A ninth-round draft pick of the San Jose Sharks during the 2004 National Hockey League Entry Draft (288th overall)...Was drafted after totaling six shutouts and 1.16 goals-against average at Boston's Catholic Memorial High School in 2003-04...Missed half of the 2005-06 season due to an injury, but had stints in the British Columbia Hockey League, United States Hockey League and Eastern Junior Hockey League...Was 10-10-2-2 with a 3.23 goals-against average and .905 save percentage for the Newmarket Hurricanes of the Ontario Provincial Junior Hockey League in 2006-07.
