Prior to LSSU: Was a teammate of Laker rookie Kevin Kapalka on the Vaughan Vipers of the Ontario Junior Hockey League...Tied for ninth in OJHL scoring after totaling 32-44--76 during the 2009-10 regular season and added 3-2--5 in five playoff games...Voted Team East’s player of the game during Game 1 of the Canadian Junior Hockey Prospects Games held in December, 2009, in Manitoba...Was ranked 157th on the 2010 NHL Scouting List and received the OJHL Top Prospects Award.
