Prior to LSSU: Was third on the team in scoring with 16 goals and 26 assists in 50 games and scored three short-handed goals for the Blind River Beavers of the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League in 2007-08...Helped lead Blind River to the Western Division's top record of 33-9-8...Played for the Soo Indians and Marquette Electricians AAA midget teams...Red-shirted in 2008-09.
Personal: Son of Kevin and Pam Cooper, grandson of former LSSU player, coach and direcor of athletics Bud Cooper...Cousin, Brad, was a senior forward for the Lakers from 2006-10...A 2008 graduate of Sault Area High School...Planning to major in exercise science.
