Prior to LSSU: Was a teammate of Laker rookie Colin Campbell of the Vaughan Vipers of the Ontario Junior Hockey League...In 2009-10, was named OJHL Goaltender of the Year after finishing 22-14-7 with a 2.84 goals-against average and .923 save percentage...Led the OJHL in minutes played and saves, and was second in save percentage, fifth in wins and sixth in goals-against.
Personal: Son of Gary and Judy Kapalka...A 2007 Westminster Secondary School graduate...Planning to major in Geology.
