Freshman (2009-10): Was picked in the seventh round, 210th overall, by the Boston Bruins during the 2010 National Hockey League Draft held in June 2010...Scored his first collegiate goal and added an assist during a 7-6 win at Robert Morris (1/2)...Also scored LSSU’s lone goal during a 1-1 tie with Notre Dame (1/23)...Totaled two goals and three assists during eight games in January...Received votes on the Michigancollegehockey.com All-Rookie Team and honorable mention on the Central Collegiate Hockey Association All-Rookie Team.
Prior to LSSU: Contributed two goals and four assists in 47 regular-season games for the Wichita Falls Wildcats (24-25-0-9) of the North American Hockey League. After having a plus-minus rating of -4 during the regular season, he was +7 with a goal and an assist during five playoff games.
