Soo BlueLiners contribute funds to Laker Hockey

SAULT STE. MARIE - Soo BlueLiners president Howard Ledergerber presents a check for $10,000 to Lake Superior State hockey coach Jim Roque during a recent BlueLiners Luncheon.

The Soo BlueLiners support Laker Hockey in many ways, including sponsorship of a golf outing in the summer and the year-end banquet, along with several other activities.

"The BlueLiners come through for us year after year," Roque said. "They help close the gap in our budget shortfalls and provide a 'home away from home' for our players. We are thankful for everything they do for us -- most of all for being great fans."
