A day in the life of...

SAULT STE. MARIE - There's more to being a Lake Superior State athlete than going to class and meeting team commitments. LSSU student-athletes take their community service roles seriously and strive to find balance during their college experience.

Recent activities involving LSSU student-athletes include (clockwise from left) the softball team donating time at the local animal shelter, the Soo BlueLiners Meet the Lakers picnic at Sherman Park, the men's basketball team's repelling class with Dr. Sally Childs, and the hockey team's involvement in the annual United Way Spaghetti Supper.

This year's United Way Spaghetti Supper is from 4-7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 10, at the Elks Lodge.
