Sophomore (2007-08): Was named LSSU's Most-Valuable Player and Most-Valuable Forward after leading the Lakers in goals scored...His 17 goals is the most by a Laker since Terry Marchant scored 17 in 1997-98...Was ranked 15th in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association in average goals scored per game and tied for eighth in the CCHA in power play goals with nine...Scored a goal in both games of the Superior Showcase and tallied seven goals through LSSU's first eight games...Tallied the game-winning goal against Wayne State (11/9)...Scored a goal in three of four games against Michigan State...Totaled 2-3--5 in a three-game CCHA first-round playoff series at Bowling Green State.

Prior to LSSU: An eighth-round draft pick by New Jersey in the 2004 National Hockey League Entry Draft...Finished 17th in the United States Junior Hockey League in scoring in 2005-06 with 28 goals and 24 assists in 56 games for the Chicago Steel...Helped lead Detroit Catholic Central High School to two state titles.
