Freshman (2007-08): Finished second on the team in blocked shots with 28 and led all Laker defensemen in plus-minus at -1...Notched his first collegiate point assisting on Nathan Perkovich's goal against Michigan State (12/1).

Prior to LSSU: Was named the Most-Valuable Defenseman for the Melfort Mustangs of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League in 2006-07...Totaled 12-36--48 in 58 regular-season games to finish second in SJHL scoring among defensemen and added 3-4--7 in 10 playoff games...Helped lead the Mustangs to a 37-18-1 Itech Conference record in 2006-07...A 4.0 student.
