Lakers fall to Florida Southern
LAKELAND, Fla. - The Lake Superior State men's and women's tennis teams lost to 17th ranked Florida Southern on Monday.
The Laker men were shut out 9-0, making their record 3-3, and the women fell 8-1, making their record 8-11.
LSSU's lone winners were Ingrid Pflieger and Erin Wiethoff at No. 3 doubles with an 8-4 win over Nora Basrtschi and Amanda Carns.
The LSSU men play Grand Valley at 8 a.m. Tuesday in Orlando.
The LSSU women play Slippery Rock at 8 a.m. Tuesday in Orlando and Rollins at 3:30 p.m. in Winter Park.
