LSSU men's and women's tennis teams beat Puerto Rico-Mayaguez

ORLANDO, Fla. - The Lake Superior State men's and women's tennis teams began their spring break trip with victories over Puerto Rico-Mayaguez on Friday. The LSSU women improved to 7-10 for the season with a 6-3 win, while the Laker men upped their record to 3-0 with an 8-1 victory.

The LSSU women finished 2-2 in tie-breakers with Ingrid Pflieger and Carolyn Pumford pulling out third-set victories at Nos. 1 and 5 singles, respectively.

The LSSU men play Rollins College at 11 a.m. Saturday in Winter Park.
