Lakers defeat Saint Leo 5-4

ORLANDO, Fla. - Lake Superior State edged Saint Leo 5-4 in a non-conference men's tennis match Friday during the final match in Florida. The Lakers are now 3-4 this season.

Razvan Mag (Windsor, Ont.) and Pawel Wegrzyn (Mississauga, Ont.) won at No. 1 doubles, 8-6. Sergiu Laza (Toronto, Ont.) won, 6-2, 6-2 at No. 2 singles. Wegrzyn also won his singles match, 6-2, and 6-4.

Travis Toth (St. Johns, Mich.), at No. 5 singles, won 6-2, 7-5. Robert Nelson (Grand Blanc, Mich.) added a win at No. 6 singles, 6-2, 7-5.

The Lakers will play a non-conference match March 11 at Calvin.
