Lakers open men's tennis season with a loss at MTU
SAULT STE. MARIE - The Lake Superior State men's tennis team opened the 2010 spring season with an 8-1 non-conference loss at Michigan Tech.
Sophomore Travis Toth, who missed last season due to an injury, posted the Lakers' lone win at No. 5 singles. He claimed a 7-5, 3-6 (10-7) win.
MTU improved to 3-0, while the Lakers are 0-1 heading into Saturday's match against Lewis.
