Laza is LSSU's only win
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Lake Superior State men's tennis lost their second Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference match in a row. The Lakers were defeated March 19 by Grand Valley, 8-1.
Sophomore Sergiu Laza (Toronto, Ont.) gave LSSU their only victory at No. 1 singles. Laza defeated Marc Roesslein 7-6 (7-1), 7-5.
The Lakers have an overall record of 2-12 and are 0-2 in the GLIAC. The Lakers will play two home matches March 25-26. The 25th against Northwood at 1:30 p.m. and the 26th against Wayne State at 10:00 a.m.
