Four from LSSU men's team plays in ITA Championships

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Four Lake Superior State men's tennis players participated in the 2010 ITA Midwest Championships.

LSSU standouts were the doubles team of Travis Toth (St. Johns, Mich.) and Rob Nelson (Grand Blanc, Mich.). Toth and Nelson were defeated in the first round of play, 8-4, then went on to win, 9-7. They fell to a doubles team from Northwood, 8-1.

Laker Brandon Clayton (Windsor, Ont.) lost in the first round of singles, 6-1, 6-2. Sergiu Laza (Toronto, Ont.) also lost in the first round. Clayton and Laza, as doubles partners, were defeated 8-5.
