Lakers lose home opener
SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. - Lake Superior State lost its Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference men's tennis home opener 7-2 Friday to No. 21 Northwood.
Senior Brandon Clayton (Windsor, Ont.) recorded LSSU's only singles win at No. 2. Clayton defeated his Northwood opponent, 4-6, 6-2, 6-2.
Clayton and No. 1 doubles partner Sergiu Laza (Toronto, Ont.) beat Northwood, 8-4.
The Lakers play Wayne State Saturday March 26th at 10 a.m. in the Student Activity Center.
