Roberts Wesleyan tops LSSU 6-3

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Lake Superior State lost its fourth match of the season, falling 6-3 to Roberts Wesleyan on Feb. 8 at the Riverview Athletic Club.

Ryne DuShane leads the Lakers with a 4-1 overall record at No. 6 singles, including a 6-2, 7-6 (4-0) win over Roberts Wesleyan. At No. 4 singles, Kyle Koster was victorious for the Lakers 6-1, 6-4.

The Lakers' other win came from Pedro Nunes at No. 2 singles. Nunes defeated Sam Thorold 6-4, 6-1.

LSSU (0-4) resumes Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play Feb. 15-17, hosting Lake Erie, Walsh and Malone in the Arbuckle Student Activity Center.
