Findlay shuts down the Lakers 7-2

FINDLAY, Ohio - Lake Superior State lost its second straight road match, 7-2, against Great Lake Intercollegiate Athletic Conference opponent Findlay Saturday. The Lakers finish out their season with a road match against Ohio Dominican Sunday at 10 a.m. Overall the Lakers are 5-15 and 3-7 in the GLIAC.

At No. 1 singles, Pedro Nunes defeated Findlay 6-2, 6-2. Nunes has won two straight at No. 1 singles and is 6-4 in conference play. LSSU's other win came from Ryne DuShane at No. 6 singles, 6-4, 6-4.

DuShane and doubles partner Dane Fosgard lost a tight match, 9-8, at No. 3 doubles. Fosgard also lost a 7-6, 7-6 heartbreaker at No. 5 singles.
