Lakers pick up a non-conference win at Alma

ALMA - The Lake Superior State men's tennis team improved to 6-8 after beating Alma 5-4 in a non-conference match Thursday.
LSSU coach Charlie Drury credited No. 2 singles player Brandon Clayton for playing his best match of the year. All three doubles matches were decided by 9-7 scores with Lake Superior State taking Nos. 1 and 2.
The Lakers resume conference play today at Ferris State. Alma dropped to 7-3.
