Wegrzyn is named to All-GLIAC Second Team

BAY CITY - Lake Superior State sophomore Pawel Wegrzyn has been named to the All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Second Team after leading the Lakers at No. 1 singles this season.

Wegrzyn (Mississauga, Ont.) was 8-13 at No. 1 singles and 6-17 in doubles during his first season of competition.

The Lakers, who utilized six first-year players in their lineup this season, finished 9-13 overall and 2-5 in the GLIAC.

Northwood's Peter Kazianschuetz was named GLIAC Player of the Year, while Mercyhurst's Tim Hansson received GLIAC Freshman of the Year honors.
