Second annual Women's Walk is another success

ATHLETIC IDYLL  – More than 230 walkers took morning strolls through Lake Superior State University's campus on Aug. 28 for the second annual LSSU Women's Walk to benefit the women's volleyball, basketball, softball, tennis, golf, cross country and track teams. This year's walk raised $27,000, about a third more than last year's total. Primary sponsors were Dean Acres Travel, Sadler-Rodenroth Motors and Autore Oil (BP).
