Three players score 10 each for Lakers

PAINESVILLE, Ohio - Maria Blazejewski, Cassy Schemberger and Jasmine Brown scored 10 points each for Lake Superior State during Thursday's 67-43 loss to Lake Erie.

Both teams shot under 40 percent from the field, and the Lakers (5-11 overall, 1-8 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) were 0-for-12 from three-point range.

Alyssa Wagers totaled 14 points and eight rebounds, and Stephanie Rogers added 13 points and seven rebounds to lead Lake Erie (11-4 overall, 5-3 GLIAC). The Storm was 6-of-23 from behind the arc and made 13-of-16 free throws. Lake Erie committed only 10 turnovers.

Blazejewski led LSSU in rebounds with eight, and Sarah Cubr followed with seven.

LSSU plays at GLIAC South Division leader Ashland at 1 p.m. Saturday.
