Lakers compete at Northwood Invitational

MIDLAND - Ashland was the winner by 25 strokes over Findlay at the Northwood Women's Invitational golf tournament held Saturday and Sunday at Currie in Midland.

Meredith Cleary shot an 86-92-178 to finish 22nd and lead the Lakers. Louis Hunt (101-106-207) was 25th.

Ashland's Erin Misheff took medalist honors with a 73-76-149, beating teammate Annie Miles by two strokes.

The Lakers compete at Findlay on Monday and Tuesday.
