Lakers wrap up fall season at Bing Beall Classic
FINDLAY, Ohio - The Lake Superior State women's golf team closed out the fall portion of the 2010-11 season with an 11th-place finish at the 13-team Bing Beall Classic hosted by the University of Findlay.
Dayna Drewes shot a 78-83--161 to tie for 21st place and lead LSSU's all-rookie squad. Samantha Gubbins tied for 29th with an 80-84--164. Amanda Garcia tied for 53rd with a 91-84--175, while Holly Daniel was 71st with a 98-100--198.
Ashland won the team title and was led by medalist Annie Miles, who fired a 72-74--146. Four AU golfers finished among the top 10 individuals.
