Henry holds onto 24th spot at GLIAC Championship
NEW ALBANY, Ohio - Lake Superior State junior Megan Henry held onto her 24th spot in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women's Golf Tournament standings after firing an 84 Sunday at Winding Hollow Golf Club.
Henry improved every round and finished with an 88-86-84--258. Samantha Gubbins also carded an 84 Sunday and tied for 25th with an 85-94-84--263. Dayna Drewes tied for 29th with a 91-89-90--270. Rounding out the field for LSSU were Natalie Vondette, who was 34th with a 91-91-93--275, and Amanda Garcia, who was 45th with a 101-97-97--295.
Team champion Grand Valley State was led by medalist Kelly Hartigan, who fired a 77-77-73--227. LSSU finished eighth among 10 teams.
