Christensen, a co-captain, led the Lakers in strikeouts last season with 72 after finishing second with 61 and in 2007. She earned GLIAC All-Academic Team honors in 2007 and 2008 and has a career batting average of .243. Christensen holds Marquette High School's career record for strikeouts and innings pitched, and posted a 0.30 earned run average as a senior in 2005.
