Klinkner, a .400 hitter and home run threat during her prep career, received Division I all-state first team honors in 2008. She hit a leadoff solo home run during a 17-inning 2-1 quarterfinal loss to Alpena and helped lead Rockford to a school-record 33 wins as a senior. Daughter of Dan and Martha Klinkner. Major: wildlife and fisheries management.
